🐎 Kentucky Derby Watch Party

Join us May 3 at The Charmant Hotel for a Kentucky Derby Watch Party! Enjoy raffles, Mint Juleps, and support HorseSense's mission through fun, fashion, and fundraising. Hosted in the stunning Lobby Bar and Lounge of The Charmant Hotel, this annual celebration of Southern charm and equestrian tradition is more than just a watch party—it’s a chance to give back. What to Expect: Live Viewing of the 151st Kentucky Derby Experience “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports” in style with large-screen viewing in one of La Crosse’s most iconic venues. Three 50/50 Cash Raffles Raffle drawings will take place at 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM, giving you three chances to win! Tickets are just $5 each or 5 for $20. Winners take home 50% of the pot, with the remaining proceeds directly benefiting HorseSense. Bucket Raffle Take a chance on a variety of fun and fabulous prizes! Tickets are $10 each, and winners will be drawn at 6:00 PM. (Cash or check accepted; ATM available onsite.) Mint Julep Magic Sip on a signature Mint Julep while you mingle—The Charmant Hotel will donate $1 from every Mint Julep sold directly to HorseSense, supporting therapeutic horseback riding programs for individuals with disabilities. Why It Matters: Proceeds from this event go to HorseSense, a nonprofit PATH Intl. organization located just outside of La Crosse, dedicated to providing equine-assisted services to children and adults with physical, cognitive, emotional, and social challenges. By pairing participants with HorseSense horses, participants foster growth in confidence, connection, and capability.
